Filing and Throwing

Chanticleer is playing music by Giovanni Pierluigi Da Palestrina in the background.

I am going through files and throwing away equally ancient paperwork. If this keeps up, I may be able to move around my study without having to leap over stacks of files or do the limbo past an exercise machine.

My wife is taking down Christmas decorations. She's expressed interest in seeing the new Star Wars film but attaches the condition that it be in a better theater than the one I usually choose. I ignored the negative connotations of that cruel remark although I have to confess that my usual theater choice has some eccentricities, such whether my car will still be in the lot when we emerge. The theater she favors is decidedly upscale and I concede its merits.

But is it sufficiently attractive to compete with cleaning an office?
