Should Attorney General Loretta Lynch have had a private meeting with former President Bill Clinton?
Run into him at the airport and it's a brief meeting in a public area? No big deal.
A private 30 minute meeting on her jet? No, the appearance is terrible and the meeting was unnecessary.
My initial reaction was "What was she thinking?"
NPR has a good report but quotes a law professor who says the Attorney General wasn't free to refuse to meet with the former President. That is nonsense. Of course, she could have declined that meeting.
