One of the definitions of "dross" is something that is trivial or inferior.
Pretend that you have a client named Dross and you need to keep a daily time sheet on all of your Dross work.
Seriously.
When you start "working" on Dross stuff, jot down the time. Keep track of the minutes.
Total it at the end of the day.
The sad news is you then get to bill yourself.
