And Now for a Minor Rant

This is for all of the techies out there.

Many of us far-from-tech-savvy folks continue to be perplexed by the lack of simple commands and procedures in software. It seems that what is "intuitive" to techies is not intuitive to the rest of us. [Try switching from one column to two and then back to one in a Word document and you'll see what I mean.]

So here's my question: When those programs are developed, do the developers ever bring in non-techies to advise them on which instructions are clear and which are not?

My guess is they do but if that is the case, then why does the problem continue?

[Brutal answer: Because you non-techies are pathetic idiots.]
