"Top 7 Warning Signs in a Man's Bookshelf"

Althouse has attracted comments on the original Warning Signs tweet.

Several of the comments list books that I like, such as A Confederacy of Dunces and Catch-22.

Here's my advice: Read whatever the hell you want. Just don't stop learning.

Some of the smartest people I've known had very odd reading preferences.

It does bring up a fascinating point, though. I love looking at other people's bookshelves when I visit their home. It reveals not only what they find interesting enough to have a book on, but what they want others to think they find interesting enough to have a book on.

Dan,

I always check out the bookshelves.

It can be quite revealing.
