This CareerJournal article lists the pros and cons of posting "position wanted" ads.
My initial reaction is surprise that anyone gets a job through these ads. My second reaction though is to wonder if they'll become more popular in a My Space-influenced future.
After all, a "position-wanted ad" is a relative of the unsolicited resume and sometimes those lead to jobs.
