The Bullied Workplace

It is easy to read articles such as this one on bullies in the office and think, "Why doesn't the employee simply resign? There are other places to work."

And in most cases, I believe that is the truth.

But then you find the single parent whose ill child is heavily dependent upon the medical insurance provided by the employer and who is unaware of her legal options.

Upper management often knows which supervisors are abusive. My question to them is "Why are those people still employed?"
