The Importance of Beauty

One of the most enchanting and unusual places in the world is Sir John Soane’s Museum in London. Sir John, an architect and avid collector who died in 1837, put together an eclectic assortment of items and somehow, the entire “look” works. Instead of resembling Grandma’s attic, each room becomes a reminder of the importance of beauty. Don’t let a visit to London end without a visit.

BTW: The museum, which was Sir John’s home, has one room entirely filled with William Hogarth paintings, including including this one titled The Orgy…which may remind some of you of your last office party.
