Ah, but to go back to the days when beer companies financed paintings as a means of advertising.
This site shows a series of western paintings related to A-1 Beer, an Arizona brew that is no more. Its paintings once got a lot of exposure in bars and Mexican restaurants throughout the Southwest.
BTW: If you scroll down, you'll find a photo of a former Vice President of the United States. That's what we do with former VPs in this country.
