If a meeting is scheduled for 10:00, what is the latest appropriate time to be there?
- 9:55
- 10:05
- 10:15 if you had something else going
- Whenever you can get to it but you have to speak last
- 10:00
Lately, for some odd reason that has nothing to do with culture and is yet to be identified, I've seen more examples of 2, 3, and 4 than of 1 and 5.

That leads to an establishment of culture, that are difficult to change.
"Meetings always start late, so why be on time."
"He's always late so why should I be ontime"
"They always wait for people to arrive"
"They won't start without me because I am too important"
