Don't Complicate Matters

If you're in business, create a customer.*
If you're a writer, tell a story.
If you're a general, win the war.
If you're a leader, lead.
If you're a follower, follow.
If you're a lover, love.
If you're a healer, heal.
If you're a teacher, teach.
If you're a driver, drive.
If you're an inventor, invent.
If you're a builder, build.
If you're a manager, manage.
If you're a servant, serve.
If you're a student, learn.

There are many ways of performing various jobs, but the central role must not be abandoned, despite numerous and attractive distractions.

[*A debt is owed to the late and great Peter Drucker for that concept.]
