I've never cared for the "thanks in advance" phrase that some people insert in business letters. It is presumptuous and mildly coercive but perhaps I need to join their camp. Here are a few that may be useful:
- "Thanks in advance for sending me a million dollars."
- "Thanks in advance for the new Jaguar."
- "Thanks in advance for the beach home in Malibu."
All I need is one positive response.
