A Good Day

In most cases, a good day is one where:

  • The planned activities out-number the interruptions and
  • There are no unpleasant surprises, no matter how small,
  • But even if there are, you know how to respond
  • Because you know that your ability to predict the future is limited
  • And so you have built flexibility into your schedule and your plans
  • And you know you can control your reaction far more than
  • You can control events and with that in mind
  • A good day is not necessarily one that was filled with fun but instead is
  • One where you have made a positive difference and
  • Achieved a great deal.
