I cannot recall who said it but some wise person noted how fortunate we are that the word "muffin" was invented or else we'd be eating cake for breakfast.
That comes to mind whenever the subject of distractions arises.
The time that I squandered on Monday was not a distraction, it was "research."
So it wasn't really squandered, right?
And those hours that went down the drain on Tuesday were "networking" so they too are redeemed.
Research and networking are common cover stories.
