Something From Out There
What do you need?
Ask that of many individuals and groups and the answer will be, in so many words, "We need something from someone else. We need something from (name an external source)."
It's a very convenient solution. No strong effort on our part. An external solution will do the heavy lifting. They explain, "The problem, you see, is out there somewhere. We even have it marked on a mental map. It is not within ourselves but out there."
No, it isn't.
