A Morning

Up at four. The usual routine. A glance at The Wall Street Journal, which deserves a return visit. Checking some books for an item on turf wars between the Nazi SS and the German bureaucracy. Reviewing my daily index card of activities. I'm teaching and coaching this week and there's an upcoming early morning meeting about a proposed board action that needs more scrutiny.

A lot more scrutiny.

And there's scribbling that needs to be done.

Oh, and the dog wants to go out.

So far, the day looks like paperwork and lots of coffee.

Which means it is time to slow down
