Good article. However, I am reluctant to believe that Barack Obama has stood by and simply "allowed" this takeover. His administration has had some complicity, if not a direct hand in many of the decisions that led to the shift.
I agree. It will now be interesting to see if there is movement a la Clinton toward the center or simply an attempt to dress the old message in new clothes.
