Let us make a day of searching for insults.
We can watch for terse e-mails and abrupt conversations, cruel slights and undue familiarity. Bad motives will fill our bag. [When you want to find them, they are always at hand.]
We will dissect kind acts and twist them into dark conspiracies.
And when the day ends, we will tally our grievances and nurse our wounds.
