Diluted Respect
"At last the Dodo said "Everybody has won, and all must have prizes."
- Alice in Wonderland
This will be one of my annual rants: It was a very poor decision to drop the Washington's Birthday and Lincoln's Birthday holidays. Each man was extraordinary and deserved a national day of respect.
In my place of business (as with many others), we don't get the generic "President's" day off. I'm not usually one to whine about not having holidays off, but it's a long stretch between January 1 and the last Monday in May with no break. If I burn a vacation day now, that's one less day I get to spend with my kids over Christmas. :(

CincyCat,
Well, that's not fun.
