Barking Dogs


Tom said the software was designed to prevent the problem. Dick thought another department had procedures to catch it. Harry believed the issue had been solved by a committee that met last year.

Not one of those beliefs was correct. Each of these highly competent gentlemen had been sleeping well at night because of an inaccurate assumption.

Some problems are barking, not biting, dogs. We may lose some sleep initially but before the sun sets we should be glad it was only a bark.
