Always Easier

It is always easier to:

  • Solicit standard ideas rather than fresh ones.
  • Talk too much at a meeting.
  • Miss the point.
  • Procrastinate.
  • Pretend that tact is a substitute for courage.
  • Rewrite history instead of shaping it.
  • Assume things.
  • Blame others.
  • Take criticism personally.
  • Surrender.
  • Concoct excuses instead of solutions.
  • Go with the crowd.
  • Snipe.
  • Hold others to a higher standard.
