Demoralization Stew


Ingredients:

  • Vague responsibilities
  • Hazy goals
  • No direction
  • Irrelevant training
  • Inconsistent rewards
  • Favoritism
  • Periodic threats of punishment

Mix thoroughly and fold in management fads, buzz words, and a worthless performance evaluation system. Simmer for 10 to 12 months. Sprinkle with slogans, terminations, and frequent mission statements.

Serve at staff meetings.
