Morning

Awoke at four, but lingered in bed for a while and read about Alexander the Great. Got up and into my early morning gear of t-shirt, jeans, and New Balance running shoes. Carefully avoided disturbing the albino lizards who camp out near my front porch light. Stood outside and looked at the stars. My street attracts early walkers and I could hear some dedicated exercisers talking to one another as I got the newspapers. Since my wife leaves very early for work, she has dibs on the papers but I always give them a quick scan before turning them over, mainly to see if any of my clients are mentioned. There was some espresso and toast for my breakfast, but I sprinkled the toast with some sugar and cinnamon as a treat. I have two small projects and two big ones to work on today. Progress will be made.

So much depends on the start of a day.
