Disorganization and Neglect
Each encourages the other. With sufficient disorganization you can rest assured that something important is being neglected. Neglect, in turn, is the midwife of disorganization.
The problem will not be solved until the joy of organization replaces the pleasure of neglect. This is a challenge, of course, because neglect provides pillows and immediate gratification while organization involves disciplined and frequent effort with serious supplies of pleasure eventually arriving by mule.
