The Yard Calleth
I spent part of last night reading about hydraulic societies, reclamation projects, and the Hohokam Indians. Thoroughly enjoyable stuff but all moments have a price. Part of this morning will be devoted to making my front yard look half-way presentable. I live in a neighborhood where some of the residents catch every leaf that falls and all maintain pristine lawns. My yard is a clearer reflection of nature - the owner's nature, that is - and so is presentable but roughly attended. I'll do my usual stellar job of mowing and raking and then will return to the Hohokam.
Bear with me.
