My Advice to Bloggers

1. Be kind. Let someone else write the vicious stuff.
2. Proof-read. All of us need to take more care.
3. Be generous. Do what you can to steer readers to deserving bloggers.
4. Be patient. Let some ideas percolate before posting.
5. Read good blogs. And good books and good magazines.
6. Try to post at least once or twice a week. Make visits worthwhile.
7. Don't keep score. You'll always lose.
8. Get away from the computer. Life provides more insight than Google.
9. Don't take yourself too seriously. [Repeat often.]
10. Think of your readers. Take care of one another.
