The Hidden Decisions

There are decisions which are hidden within every decision. We are not just selecting from the options that are on the map but from a legion of unknown options.

Not considering the hidden options may spell failure.That's why we strive to get a lot of options when making major decisions. 

But that just refers to options which are related to the issue at hand. There are others which may have no direct connection but which will be inadvertently ruled out by the decision. Eventually, overlooking those may produce serious regret or missed opportunities.

Tip: When making decisions, consider which roads won't be taken and don't just think of the well-trod paths. Those uncut trails may be what you really want.
