Observations about Time "Management"

  • We'll get more done if we think of investing time rather than managing it.
  • There are good distractions and bad distractions but when it comes to completing the job at hand, all of them are distractions.
  • It is possible to work on a project for an hour before realizing you aren't really working on the project.
  • The fact that you like early mornings doesn't mean you are not a night person.
  • If you don't consciously take a vacation you will subconsciously take one.
  • The power of the visual means there is still much value in having an hourglass in today's high tech world.
  • Scheduling actions is more meaningful than scheduling work.
