Clairvoyance?

I am amused by the pundits who are praising or damning the meeting between President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un.

The negotiations may turn out to be a big negative, a big success, or perhaps something in-between. The first meeting was the show. The follow-up meetings are the nitty-gritty of what all of this means. The respective staffs will do most of the heavy lifting.

This is hardly profound. Everyone knows that. But notice the almost irresistible tendency to declare a winner and a loser.
