Commentary by Michael Wade on Leadership, Ethics, Management, and Life
Michael, I read your blog for your opinions. Give us more of them. Your readers are here because we want to know what you think. For example, what do you think of this movie? What do you think about the artwork you show? Even directing us to reading someone else's blog deserves your weigh in.
Texas Leigh,I will seriously consider doing so. The difficulty I have, as opposed to many bloggers, is I have a business that could be hurt if I gave certain opinions. Another factor is my schedule is so demanding (in addition to the consulting practice I am also writing a book) that I would find it difficult to answer the responses that might be sparked by such opinions.I mention that as a way of revealing the method in the current madness. I always appreciate your comments. They will spur me to think about some options. Thanks!Michael
Thanks for the clear explanation. Your insight is appreciated. I understand that as a consultant you can't alienate your clients. Most business owners keep their political views private in order not to alienate half the country. How sad. Comment when you can, if you can.
Texas Leigh,I'm glad you understand. I've hired and worked with people with all sorts of political beliefs but the past few years seem to have sparked a sizable amount of intolerance for other viewpoints. I do, however, have an indirect strategy. The greater the craziness, the more I am willing to support candidates who oppose it.I will give my views from time to time. Thanks for hanging in here with me.Michael
