[Added thought: It is an interesting video. I have a different take on various aspects and don't care for the machine metaphor. His approach reminds me - to steal from Isaiah Berlin - of the importance of being both a hedgehog and a fox. Once he was a "one-idea" hedgehog and after his setback he became more of a "multiple perspectives" fox but there are still distinct hedgehog aspects.]
