Political Advice

Can there be a bipartisan consensus that politicians involved in sex scandals shouldn't subject their spouses to the added humiliation of having to stand next to them at the post-scandal press conferences?

No class.

These guys, especially those like Spitzer, are totally ego-centric. Incidental humans, like their wives and daughters, for example, are fodder only for their political ambitions. Stage props, you might say. It is totally disgusting that these creeps would subject their wives to this humiliation.

I think the spouse is the one who should hold the press conference announcing the transgression. Ah - sweet justice!

It's their choice, Michael. Somehow, I doubt my wife would be so supportive...

All great comments! I think these guys use their wives as shields to fend off the press. That compounds the offense.
