Topsy-Turvy

One of my favorite movies is Topsy-Turvy, which examines the relationship between Gilbert and Sullivan during the writing of The Mikado.

Not only does the film give a clear sense of how much we owe countless actors and theater workers who nurtured fine work, it also illustrates the nature of the creative process. The DVD can be difficult to find in stores although it is available via several sources at Amazon.com.

Highest recommendation. Great drama. Great music. Check it out.
