The Death of Email

A one-time high tech device

Is email dying? Can
Rob Long be onto something here?

This strikes me as true in light of the texting habits of the young people I know.

Texting certainly is replacing phone calls. What comes after texting? Grunts?

So when do you think readers might begin Tweeting directly into a comments thread?

After texting comes mental telepathic communication from human to human with the use of tiny computer chips implanted in the temple region of the head, and connected to the inner ear and voice box. All Internet access will be by mental searches and visualized on the retina. Hands and arms and voice communication will largely disappear, and our brains will expand to the size of basketballs. At some point in this evolution, our heads will explode, and God will start all over again.
