Random Thoughts
A project may not cost more money than estimated but it will take more time. We can waste months trying to get others to like the same things we like. Sometimes the person who is alone on Saturday night wants to be alone on Saturday night. We usually know what has to be fixed but still search for ways to avoid the answer. If you keep having to make excuses for a leader then there's either something wrong with the leader or something wrong with you. Learning to live with less is a form of instant wealth. There are books that cannot be enjoyed unless they are read slowly. Just because the news media tell you to worry about an issue doesn't mean that the issue is worth worrying about. You may not want to have to defend yourself but it sure helps to know how. Every day you feed your mood. A team member who does not fully and enthusiastically contribute is not a team member. Right now there is someone you need to contact to let them know you care. We need to achieve progress as diligently as we create barriers. There are matters to think about and others that simply need to be done in a routine manner. It is important not to confuse the two. When you're done with the substance, don't forget to add the poetry. Make sure that one of the required classes in your life is You 101. Those people four hundred years ago thought they were pretty smart too. When we describe ourselves as reliable, we are usually referring to positive performance and yet our reliability may extend to other areas. Each day we should commit to a great attitude, whether we feel like it or not, and share that upbeat outlook with others. Don't dismiss a burden you've never carried. Realize that today's challenges and opportunities may have started many years back.
