Therapy of the Mundane
Rearranging the pegboard puts me in a problem-solving mode. Cleaning things up physically triggers a similar mental process. I won't go so far as to say these things "reboot" the brain but they do seem to have a restorative effect on problem-solving skills if only for the perspective they provide. As I wrote previously, there is something therapeutic about being "physically captive" to a mundane project which allows for a certain intellectual freedom.
