The Right Change

More of the same usually produces more of the same. When problems arise there is the temptation to do even more of the same than before.

Which is not always a good strategy.

Of course, there is also the opposite approach which reasons that less or even none of the same will be the answer.

That can also be a mistake.

Part of the difficulty stems from a failure to get a clear picture of the current environment. Situations, needs, and people change. A solution which might have been effective five years ago may be counterproductive today.

Make sure that a focus on steps does not cause you to overlook the context.
