Haircut Discipline
A kid acts up and so is given an "old man" haircut?
Cultural Offering has the details.
I think that is cruel. Of course, when I was growing up my father had some drugstore variety barber's electric shaver. To save money he occasionally cut his sons' hair.
He was not seeking an old man look; indeed it seemed the only choice we had was Moe of The Three Stooges or Prisoner of the Gulag. You never knew what you were getting until he was finished.
Sometimes, it was Moe of the Gulag.
His sons gained a life-long appreciation for real barbers.
