Complying with Fed Regs re Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities

Okay, okay, I know that the mere mention of federal regulations is enough to make many of you assume a fetal position on your office floor and begin chanting passages from Atlas Shrugged but there are HR people who read this blog.

Some even read it religiously, if I can say that to HR people.

And for those brave souls who arm-wrestle with federal compliance agencies - and in this case we're talking about the noble minions of the Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, better known as the OFCCP - the world of regulations is akin to entering Pan's Labyrinth (see trailer under Entertainment Break or click here).

So here's my point.

If you are a federal contractor and have to comply with the new Department of Labor affirmative action regulations for protected veterans and individuals with disabilities, Sanders Wade Rodarte Consulting Inc. (I am the Wade in the name) has prepared two online workshops which explain, in plain language, what needs to be done.[I've mentioned this before and, of course, will mention it again. Workshop developers are shameless self-promoters.]

Needless to say, this is cause for dancing in the streets.

Click here for the workshop designed for managers and supervisors. [Remember, you have to get them trained and this is a substantive and painless way of doing it.]

Click here for the workshop designed for HR professionals. [We know the various roles you juggle and this gives helpful strategies whether you're talking to a bellowing compliance officer or Big Red and his peers in the field.]

Both meet our three criteria for workshops: Practical information. Easy to understand. Can be put to immediate use.

Don't dilly-dally.

Although I don't "have" to, I look forward to taking your course(s). Will you have a permanent link on Execupundit to access later? Thanks. E.

E,

That's good news.

We'll be putting a link to a page which will contain links to all of our classes.

It will be up soon.

Thanks!

Michael
