How many of us can honestly say that they are devoid of superstition?
Is there not the slightest twinge when noting that today is Friday and it is also the thirteenth? Is an eyebrow raised when a black cat crosses your path? Do you still say "knock on wood?"
We know these things are nonsense and yet.
What is lurking in the "and yet?"
