The Quiet Contributor
I've served on committees where, as with most groups, there is a small faction of doers, many of whom may also be thinkers, a few people who are almost exclusively thinkers, and others who are simply along for the ride.
I can recall some individuals who were valued for one special skill: the ability to raise the right question at the right time. These people didn't say much but when they did, it went right to the core of the subject.
Watch for these people. If you have a few on your team, you are blessed.
