Returning from a Business Trip

A simple ground rule upon arrival: Get unpacked. Don't leave that chore for later. It will turn into a raven above your door. The sooner you get everything back in place, the better.

Other rules: Guzzle water. Eat little. Don't watch television. Take vitamins. Get to bed early.

Take this advice from an old road warrior: It works.

Agree 100% on the unpacking piece. I have been doing that intentionally this year during a spate of business trips and it returns you to normalcy much sooner! The other tips are also good. I unfortunately, do like to vegetate in front of the TV. I know that is not good.

Bob,

Getting unpacking out of the way quickly removes a burden.

It immediately lifts my spirits.
