Commentary by management consultant Michael Wade on Leadership, Ethics, Management, and Life
Thanks for an excellent post.I'd add one that's not exactly a novel, but a quite enjoyable history of the west from the early 1900s: "Letters of a Woman Homesteader," by Elinore Pruitt Stewart. I've read many novels by Louis L’Amour and Larry McMurtry, but not most of the other authors highlighted here; I'll have to rectify that soon.
Steve,Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check it out. This will date me, but two of the required reading books when I went to high school were "The Virginian" and "The Ox-Bow Incident."I doubt if any high schools are requiring those nowadays.Michael
