Commentary by Michael Wade on Leadership, Ethics, Management, and Life
Thanks, Michael, for that pointer. Reading the comments was interesting and it made me conclude that I'm really missing out on the excitement of arguing with others about whose bigger, er, faster, er, virus free, er better.Actually I have a computer that works quite well, thank you. It runs the software I need and want to do what I do every day. Maybe the other kind of computer is better but I don't know. In fact, I don't care because my computer is just all right with me. I know that I'm missing out on some exciting debate about technical issues I don't care about, but I'll just keep doing business and letting the debaters debate.
I know what you mean, Wally. Years ago, I served as the president of a neighborhood association. I learned that many people can discuss nuclear war more calmly than they can discuss a pothole. When it comes to computers I have a similar standard. If it works, it works.
