Cry Hard Cry Fast

Read the review at Pulp Serenade. When I was in my teens, my snobbish nature shunned such books, choosing instead to read Steinbeck and Hemingway. Besides, any book with a cover like the above would have drawn undue attention from my parents.

That's how I missed out on some very good writing.

Better late than never. My friend Bob turned me on to J.D. McDonald in my late teens and have loved his books since, especially the Travis McGee color books.

Glad you plugged him. E.

I've only read the Travis McGee color books, but have enjoyed every one.
