Every book lover will identify with this post from prolific author Nicholas Bate on how we buy books, but then don't get around to reading them for a while.

My shelves include books that I purchased ten years ago and still intend to read. In fact, I read one of those dinosaurs this past year and was thankful that I'd held onto it.

It was as good as I'd expected it to be, many years ago.
