A $350 Blender?

CoolTools says it's worth it.

Absolutely worth it. Both the Vitamix and the Blendtec are excellent. We've had the Vitamix since the beginning of the year and it's easily paid for itself through never needing to go to Jamba Juice or Robeks again.

Rick,

That sounds very healthy. I immediately thought of margaritas.

Ha! True. It will also make an excellent margarita. Look behind the counter at your favorite restaurants. You will not find Oster or Black and Decker for drink blenders!

Rick,

I'll conduct an extensive survey.

I have no issue with paying high money for high quality. As somebody who's a tad particular (wives will have other words for that trait) about home-brewed coffee, I've been juggling the idea of accumulating coinage to buy a $349.95 Baratza Vario Burr Grinder, so a $350 blender actually sounds quite reasonable & inexpensive as it can do many things as opposed to a uni-functional coffee grinder....
.....but hey!!! It has adjustable speeds allowing one to use it with any coffee bean grown on this planet!

Coffee Beans from other planets may require a seperate machine; I'm looking into that option as well.
