Commentary by management consultant Michael Wade on Leadership, Ethics, Management, and Life
I read the novel, "Girl With A Pearl Earring," but can't recall the details. I guess it wasn't that memorable... That said, I have always liked the painting, though. Paintings like this are ripe for intrigue, and I can certainly appreciate that. My mom is an artist, and I love to hear her tell me what was going through her head when she was painting a particular subject.
CincyCat,It is an extraordinary painting and you immediately wonder about the girl and her story as well as the artist.Michael
