Pen People

Cultural Offering brings back a great post on the hard-working pens he has known. Raise that subject with anyone who does a lot of writing and you'll encounter strong opinions.

My favorite inexpensive ballpoint pen is the PaperMate Profile. [I buy them by the carton. Kurt's note inspired me to order another batch.] It's a very smooth-writing pen.

For an upscale ballpoint, my choice shifts to the Cross models.

Over the past year, I've grown to love the Lamy fountain pen for its performance, ease, no-nonsense look, and low price.

Fact: One of the genuine pleasures of life is the use of a good pen.
