Start each day with a clear view of your top two priorities.
Go ahead and work in bursts but make sure the bursts are on one of the top priorities.
Will there be interruptions? Sure, but - barring a major crisis - the interruptions should not become the main focus. That should always be on one of your top two priorities.
Can this be done every day? No.
Can it be done most days? Yes.
